Blog Candy Coming Soon!

Yes you read right I will be hosting a blog candy give away real soon so be sure to check back often, I am celebrating a few things my blog is over one year old(was 1 one the 6th of January) and I am almost to 5000 hits. Tom's Birthday Card

Today's card is for my BIL from my sister, inside it says " Know what your getting for your Birthday? OLD!" He and my Mom share the same Birthday, I am so focused on hers I forgot it was his until my sister called and asked me to make one for her. This guy doesn't look anything like Tom but maybe someday if he cuts off his hair and gets fat.... :) He turns 58 tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the card and have a fabulous day!

St. Patricks Day Bag Piper

This is my submission for the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS. Today's feature is Vicky Gould you can check out her gallery here. I changed the stamp, added dew drops different dp which is kind of special, this is paper I purchased for digital scrapbooking at Digitalscrapbookpages.com I just purchased this set by Christina Blomberg called Good Luck Greens and printed it on my Whisper White paper at home. They really have some nice papers to choose from. I hope to check out digital a little further and if I get any great pages I will post them for everyone to see. If anyone does this already and has any great tips I would love to hear from you. I have done a download of Photoshop Elements to try it out for 30 days, just did this yesterday and really need a class I think..... :) Hope you all enjoy this little guy, he is a Dog Gone Stamp check them out with the link on the right side of my blog they have added some really cute stamps just in the last few days. Cards 4 Kids

Hello everyone! I just wanted to put a quick note up to let all you ladies with extra cards sitting around know, there is a need for them out there. I personally hold on to way to many of the cards I make so I am sending them to Pat Adam, she distributes them to kids in the hospital there in Detroit. She is requesting Valentine cards for them and they must be to her by 2/7/09. I am sending her my Easter cards left over from last year and various others. High Hopes - A darling girl and her Pig

This little girl and her pig were so cute I couldn't resist buying it, I have had it for a few months now but am just getting around to playing with it. DP is some doodlebug design that I picked up at Roberts Crafts. Picture is colored with Prisma pencils and gamsol. This card by Sandy aka "shulsart"on SCS was my inspiration for mine. FS102 Congrats Lori!

This is a Featured Stampers Challenge that I participate in whenever I get the chance, it lets you look at someone else's work and recreate what they have done with your own touches. This is Lori's Card. As you can see I changed some things, brads, use of colors and stamp. I hand drew the background and it shows..... I didn't have a nice background stamp that would look like it belonged so I improvised. Hope you like it and if you get a chance go check out the link here to participate now. Valentine Pig

Wow can you believe it 3 posts in 3 days? I am back!!! Well today I worked on this cute little valentine pig from High Hopes, I made the cuts with my new cricut machine I got for christmas. I also used some Basic Grey paper that I fell in love with and just had to buy. I hope to get much use from it in the future. I am working on some wall words, but that hasn't gone the absolute best.... If anyone knows of any tips on that I would love to hear from you. I will let you know when I end up with some good ones to hang up. I have a fabulous saying though. Hope you all have a great week. (This photo was edited on 2/10/09 I touched up the pig somewhat with a deeper color as he was washed out so badly, then I added Twinkling H20's in addition to that to really pop him out some.)

Mrs. Bear

Isn't this little bear the sweetest little thing? She just makes me smile. I used my copics to color her in it was so fast and easy, then added the polka dots to her dress. She is another DogGoneStamps stamp.Thanks so much for dropping by and come see me again!

Hello from Wyoming!

Hey hope everyone is having a fantastic New Year and had a terrific Holiday season. I have been out of touch for a while and want to say I am sorry, to all you faithful readers. I am planning to get back into the swing of things very soon. This little golfer card is for my brother, his birthday is coming up soon and he loves to golf so how perfect is that? The stamps are made by a brand new company called DogGoneStamps They have some really cute stamps and since they are new they are coming out with more all the time.
