Color Combo

I just love this color combo. Let me know what you think. It says spring to me also. This stamp set is a part of Sale-a-bration with SU. If you haven't gotten yours better hurry they are only available until March 17th. If you aren't aware of Sale-a-bration drop me a note and I will let you know how it works. Enjoy your Weekend everyone and Thank You for stopping by my blog.

Spring Anyone?

I don't know about any of you but I am so ready for spring, we just keep getting snow here in Wyoming and it is getting to be a little much. We will have the most beautiful summer though I am sure and we are always grateful for that, but the amount of snow we have right now in our backyard is about 5 feet and it isn't going to go away real soon if you know what I mean! :) Our summer season where I am in Western Wyoming is only 3 to 4 months tops so I think we will have snow until July at this rate. Anyway this card makes me think of spring, I hope it will for you also. I got the color combo off the Scrapitude site and if you haven't found it you must check it out.
Card Receipe includes: Regal Rose, Opulent Orchid and Summer Sun Papers. Pretty in Pink, Summer Sun and Black Stazon Inks. Thoughts of Father, Circle of Friendship, Paisley BG and Doodles stamps. SU Punch, ribbon, markers, Prisma Pencils and Gamsol for blending.

Stamping Saturday's!

How is everyone today? I love Saturdays, I spend my day stamping and doing ultimately whatever I want. The joys of having two grown children... :) I miss them but love my time. Today I made some new cards with a new Stampin' Up set called For Father . This set will be released to the public in the Mini Occassions Catalog that will be available on March 1st. I love this set, it is so good for a masculine card, I don't know about any of the rest of you but I have a real hard time with them. Images suitable for men are difficult to come by also, that could be a good reason eh? I love the apple image and the tool image is the biggest reason I bought it, my husband owned and operated his own construction company for a few years. He is busy constructing thing like teardrop campers. We have one and I love to camp in the summer now, at one time we had a 37' 5th wheel and I like the smaller teardrop much better, not so much to clean. With the snow we are getting in Wyoming right now I can tell you I can't wait for summer!! So based on that is my second card, this one is done with no stamps and very little work, if you like this type of card check these out. Fun and Easy. Here is a link to Scrapnextras Card, it is gorgeous! Mine just uses plain cardstock that has been inked while hers is using Designer Paper (DP). It makes me think of my garden in the summer, warm and fussy. LOL Hope you like checking these out and I would love to see yours when you get it done. Please leave a comment and I will come check out your blog or card. Thanks everyone and have a great Saturday!

Featured Stamper

Today I participated in the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com
It was so fun, I would like to do this everyweek. Just take a look at the person's gallery and case one of their cards. You must change at least two things. Very fun and the featured stamper gets to see all the creations that came from her ideas. Here is my case of her card. Here is a link to her card. Congratulations Renee!
