FS219 Coffeestamper

Today's Featured Stamper is Sue aka Perk aka coffeestamper over at SCS. Sue has a fabulous gallery to peruse and I love her work. She is always wonderful about commenting on a person's gallery. I try to emulate her with that, I know that comments make a person's day. This is the card I chose to case. This image is from Whipper Snapper and she is just the cutest little thing with her dust bunnies. On the inside of the card I decorated and it says "i'd rather be stampin'"
I know it is a little bizarre I was stamping... LOL This was my first completed project in a whole week, I have lots started and none finished. Kind of lost my mojo in there somewhere this week, have images all colored up, card stock laid out for the cards (4 actually) and just didn't seem right... I can't stand days like that. Sometimes the featured stamper brings out the best in me. I started one for the QFTD too but haven't gotten that one completed yet... Yikes it will be there CarrollAnn (Mrs. Boz)I just have to get on it.

I really wanted to use these bright and fun colors, I do find if I decide on my paper first I am much better off. Picking paper after coloring the image can be very hard at least for me... :) Maybe I just need a class or two? Anyone know where I can go?
Today is our daughter Danielle's birthday, she is 29! Goodness time flies doesn't it? Happy Birthday to her and my wonderful Sister-in-Law Linda! Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to have more cards out maybe even today. Have a great Sunday!

FS218 Becky

A card for the Featured Stamper at Splitcoast this week. Congrats to Becky Spinks for being the FS today! Here is Becky's card that I chose to case.
Here is my story and I am sticking to it... I tried and tried to merge this stamp with the stamp called Garden Fence (both Meljen Design stamps) on my PSE last night, uurrggg! I can not use that program, so I looked up tutorials on youtube, one had no sounds and the lady whipped thru there so fast there was no way to follow her! When you are older like me and the screen is not as large as your computer screen, well let me just say that was a worthless waste of time. I am aging and need a magnifing glass to see... LMBO Oh well, so this morning after attempting again and did get two layers on the screen they just didn't blend together and mask the way the should I finally gave up and used just the bird house image. It took me longer to try to figure all that out than to make the whole card!

So I would love love love to hear from anyone that can point me in the direction that I should go to, to find help on this very perplexing problem that I have with PSE. (I am running an older version 7.0 and until I can run it partially don't really want to spend money to get newer version.)

Copics used for this project were: E33, 25, C3, 5, Y11, 19, 21, BV00, 02, V04, B0000, 21, 34,and YG03

As always thanks for stopping by and have a spectacular day!

FS106 Julie Lacey

It's Featured stamper day and Julie Lacey is the gal to case. Here is a link to her fabulous gallery. If you love layers you will love Julie's cards, she is the queen of layers. I had a difficult time using this many (actually made two cards but the first didn't have enough layers). Anyway meet Nikko one of the new stamps from Dog Gone Stamps, isn't he adorable. He just looks like he is saying let's go play! Hope you all take a look at the blog candy down a couple of posts and have a great day girls!

FS105

Today is Featured Stamper over at SCS today's Feature is Karen Dunbrook. This is my case of her card seen here. I hope I did it justice. It is so much fun to participate in these challenges and go look at all the wonderful galleries. There are so many that you never even see, because of timing I suppose. Any way if you get a chance go over and play it is tons of fun.

FS102 Congrats Lori!

This is a Featured Stampers Challenge that I participate in whenever I get the chance, it lets you look at someone else's work and recreate what they have done with your own touches. This is Lori's Card. As you can see I changed some things, brads, use of colors and stamp. I hand drew the background and it shows..... I didn't have a nice background stamp that would look like it belonged so I improvised. Hope you like it and if you get a chance go check out the link here to participate now. Thanks for dropping by.
